James Foster

James E. Foster is professor of economics and international affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. Previously, he was professor of economics, director of the graduate program in economic development at Vanderbilt University, and senior research fellow in the Vanderbilt Institute of Public Policy Studies. Dr. Foster joined Vanderbilt in 1990 after a decade as a faculty member in the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.

Martin Gaynor

Martin Gaynor is the Eugene J. Barone Professor of Economics and Health Policy at Carnegie Mellon University and a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Centre for Market and Public Organisation at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. He has served as a consultant to the Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Justice, and the California Department of Corporations on antitrust issues. Alan Gerber

Alan S. Gerber is George C. and Dorothea S. Dilley Professor of Political Science, Director of the Yale Center for the Study of American Politics, resident fellow of the Institution for Social and Policy Studies at Yale University, and faculty research fellow in political economy at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research focuses on the application of experimental methods and statistical analysis to the study of American politics.

Sherry Glied

Sherry Glied is Dean of the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at Columbia University. From 2010 until August 2012, Dr. Glied served as Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She holds a B.A. in economics from Yale University, an M.A. in economics from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University. Her research on health policy has focused on the financing of health care services in the U.S.

Peter Hammer

Peter J. Hammer is the director of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights and a professor at the Wayne State University Law School. Previously, he was an assistant professor at the University of Michigan Law School. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan School of Public Health in the Department of Health Management and Policy. At Wayne State, Professor Hammer has helped redesign the school's health law curriculum. His work focuses on the study of federal antitrust law and the legal issues surrounding changes in the health care industry.

David Hemenway

David Hemenway is a professor of health policy at the Harvard School of Public Health and the director of the Harvard Injury Control Research Center and the Harvard Youth Violence Prevention Center. For more than two decades, Hemenway has been a powerful voice in public health policy and the field of injury prevention, as both a prominent public speaker and as the author of numerous books and research articles.

Neal Hooker

Neal H. Hooker is a Professor of Food Policy in the John Glenn School of Public Affairs at the Ohio State University. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, an M.A. from the University of British Columbia (Canada) and a B.A. (Hons.) from Essex University (U.K.).
