Harold W. Neighbors is a professor emeritus of health behavior and health education and associate director of the Center for Research on Ethnicity, Culture, and Health, where he is the principal investigator of two NIH training programs, Promoting Ethnic Diversity in Public Health Doctoral Training and the Michigan Bridge to the Doctorate Program. Dr.
Harold Pollack is the Helen Ross Professor of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. His recent public health and economic policy analyses have appeared in JAMA, Addiction, Pediatrics, Health Services Research, Health Economics, Medical Decision Making, Health Affairs, and other leading publications. He has been appointed to three expert committees of the National Academies of Science. A nonresident fellow of the Century Foundation, Dr.
David Rosner is Ronald H. Lauterstein Professor of History and Public Health at Columbia University and co-Director of the Center for the History of Public Health at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health. He and Gerald Markowitz authored Deceit and Denial: The Deadly Politics of Industrial Pollution (2002). Their newest book entitled Are We Ready?: Public Health since 9/11 appeared on the fifth anniversary of September 11th. He received his B.A. from City College of New York, M.P.H from the University of Massachusetts and his doctorate from Harvard in the History of Science.
Rosemary A. Stevens is a Dewitt Wallace Distinguished Scholar in the department of psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College and a member of the National Advisory Committee of the Investigator Awards in Health Policy Research program. A health policy historian, Dr. Stevens has examined specialization in American medicine during the past 25 years, as well as the organization of care in the U.S., and physician practice arrangements.
