Amy Finkelstein (2003 Awardee) co-authored "Medicaid Increases Emergency-Department Use: Evidence from Oregon's Health Insurance Experiment" in Science (Online DOI: 10.1126/science.1246183).  The study has received major media coverage with Dr. Finkelstein's research being featured on the CBS Evening News segment "Medicaid-eligible patients more likely to visit emergency rooms, study shows" and in The New York Times article "Emergency Visits Seen Increasing With Health Law," which also includes a quote from Sara Rosenbaum (2000 Awardee).
